WKU in England: Harlaxton

Harlaxton College is located in Grantham, England, which is a small town about an hour north of London. The University of Evansville owns the 19th century manor, and WKU has a contract that allows students to study abroad there every semester. Most students choose to study at Harlaxton College for a single semester; normally in their sophomore or junior year. Harlaxton's broad based curriculum allows students from most majors to choose a semester at Harlaxton which complements their field of study and, very often, helps fulfill several General Education requirements. Studying for a full 16 week semester allows students to take full advantage of all the travel, cultural immersion and personal growth opportunities that an extended study abroad experience can offer.
