Paris, France
Spend a summer in the charming and sophisticated city of Paris, France with AIFS! Earn up to 9 credits as you study a variety of academic program options at the prestigious Cours de Civilisation Française de la Sorbonne (CCFS). Located in the heart of the Montparnasse district, the university is close to the Paris Observatory, the Paris Catacombs and numerous museums.

Courses are taught in English and French, with no previous French language study required.

French language study programs are available at all levels, from Beginner to Advanced/Superior. 

Live in a Parisian homestay and receive a typical French breakfast every day plus a meal allowance. Additional housing and meal options are available. 

Cultural activities include:
  • half-day sightseeing in Paris
  • visits to museums and monuments
  • walking tours
  • trips outside Paris
  • a Bateaux-Mouches boat trip
  • group dinners and more
Optional excursions include a 2-day trip to Normandy and Brittany and a 2-day trip to Châteaux of the Loire Valley. For students on the optional AIFS Flight Package, a 2-night tour of London is included.
