About the University
The EM Lyon Business School is ranked among the top 3 business schools in France and the top 30 in Europe.  EM Lyon holds the same accreditation (AACSB) as the Gordon Ford College of Business at WKU, which makes it easy for WKU students to obtain course approval. Faculty at EM Lyon often employ innovative teaching strategies such as the flipped classroom, in which active learning activities take place during class time and instructional content outside of class.

The brand new Lyon campus offers students many opportunities for unique exposure and experience in the business field as well as a strong sense of community and intimacy. The campus is located in a residential suburb about 35 minutes from Lyon's city center. Lyon also serves as a great location to improve French language skills and immerse yourself in a French culture.

The Bureau des Etudiants (BD) is the main student union responsible for organizing extracurricular activities. Students can join sports teams, go skiing in the Alps or spend a day at one of France’s nearby beaches. The Young Ambassadors program is a student program designed to help exchange students acclimate to life in France. 


About Lyon
Saint Etienne LandscapeLyon is the third largest city in France and often referred to as the cuisine capital of France. The city is recognized for its historical and architectural landmarks, several of which are on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Lyon is also know for its festival of lights, held for 4 days every December. There are nearly 200,000 university students living in Lyon and is a hub for banking, chemical, pharmaceutical, biotech and software industries. The metro and bus system makes getting around quick and easy. Lyon is accessible to other popular destinations in Europe as it is 2 hours from Paris by high-speed train and just an hour from the Mediterranean coast.





Courses
EM Lyon is a business school; therefore, a wide range of business related courses are offered. Courses are subject to change each semester.

Students live in off-campus apartments. Students have options to live near campus or in the city center.
