Program Description:
The Climate Change Challenge: Explore the impacts of climate change through the lens of many perspectives on board the MV Explorer. This interdisciplinary program includes courses from several disciplines. Together the group will learn how climate change impacts the world from various perspectives.  Each student will be enrolled in one 3-credit course along with a 1-credit hour service learning course.Topper at Sea Logo

Itinerary

Eligibility
  • Undergraduate students: good standing.
  • Graduate student: good standing.
  • Permission of instructor.
  • Current WKU student eligible to register for WKU courses.   Students from outside WKU may participate as visiting students.
  • 18 years of age or older by May 29, 2014.
  • Permission of parent or guardian for those under 18 years.
  • Possess passport with an expiration date after December 15, 2014 (all participants regardless of age).
  • No current disciplinary sanctions as verified by Judicial Affairs.
  • Meet payment schedule and full payment prior to departure.
  • Completion of all pre-departure orientations.
  • Maintain adherence to Toppers at Sea Student Code of Conduct

Study Abroad courses are not eligible for employee tuition waiver
