About the University
Jean Moulin-Lyon-3 welcomes over 4,000 international students a year and enrolls about 27,000 students altogether. This school has an active campus life as it offers students year-round concerts, theatre, cinema, events and exhibitions. Students can join one of the many student clubs or sports teams. About Lyon
Lyon is the third largest city in France. It has 120,000 college students living in the city and13 percent of these students are international students. Due to its magnificent architecture and historical sites, Lyon was classed by UNESCO as part of the World Heritage in 1998. It is settled in the Rhone-Alps Region of France and it is one of the most important economic regions in France. One can enjoy the lively cultural and social scene of the City of Lyon and the beautiful, well-preserved natural sites of the surrounding Alps. Lyon is just a short train ride to Paris and the Mediterranean Sea!
Courses
Jean Moulin Lyon-3 offers two study programs for exchange students, the SELF and the DEUF program. The SELF program is designed for students with a beginner to intermediate level of French because it offers a variety of courses in English, such as: Business, Law, Humanities, Philosophy, French language and French Culture and Civilization. Course offerings are determined six months prior to the start of each semester.
The DEUF program may be of interest for students with a more proficient level of French. Students will take French as a Foreign Language and Introduction to French Culture and Civilization in French. Additionally, they will be able to choose courses from the Lyon-3 French course listings.
There is also the possibility of pursuing an internship while studying at Lyon-3! Students will work directly with the Lyon-3 international office to set up a placement.

Accommodations
Students have several housing options in Lyon. They can choose from homestays, apartments, houses and university residences. The Lyon III International Association provides students with assistance in securing housing.
